About Me

Craig MacDonald

When people ask me what kind of photographer I am, it's always a bit tricky to pin down. I'm drawn to so many different styles and aspects of photography, always eager to try my hand at something new.

I thrive on capturing moments and interactions with people, aiming to craft images that resonate and linger in memory. My photography is a blend of capturing the real and conjuring the abstract, finding beauty and stories in unexpected places.

Whether I'm shooting a product, a sweeping landscape, a joyous wedding, or a soulful portrait, my goal is to unveil the essence of my subject and perhaps uncover a hidden tale.

Teaching is another passion of mine, offering me a chance to share my love for photography and inspire others. Seeing my students dive into their own artistic journeys, stretching their boundaries, and producing images they're proud to display fills me with joy and renewed creativity every day.

Being an Arts Teacher means I can surround myself with like-minded people who inspire me with their enthusiasm to be creative.
